HOW PRIVATE LESSONS WORK
CHOOSE A SUBJECT
Private lessons can be for general language study, academic study, pronunciation, business English or test preparation. Private lessons can be booked separately or combined with other courses.
CHOOSE YOUR TYPE OF LESSON
Latitude Language offers tutoring in basic, standard and professional packages (see below).
CHOOSE YOUR DURATION
Choose how many times a week you’d like to meet and for how many weeks. You can always book more lessons later but booking several lessons at once ensures availability with the same Instructor. We recommend at least 1x a week for 8 weeks.
SET YOUR LOCATION AND TIME
Choose your location. Lessons can be held in person in Daytona Beach, Florida or online worldwide
ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
Your Instructor will help you set goals for language learning as well as offer coaching and feedback. By following your custom plan you can achieve your goals!

Different lesson types require different levels of expertise from different Instructors.
BASIC
Private Lessons- Topics: General English
- Skill: Beginners and Intermediate Learners
- Example topics: Improve vocabulary, general speaking, general writing,
STANDARD
Private Lessons- Topics: General English, Academic English, specific scenarios
- Skill: Intermediate Learners
- Example topics: essay writing, oral conversation, grammar help
PROFESSIONAL
Private Lessons- Topics: General English, Academic English, Business English, Test Preparation, specific scenarios
- Skill: Intermediate and Advanced learners
- Example topics: application essays, TOEFL prep, GMAT prep, formal discussions
Level: All levels | Lesson Length: 45 min
ADDITIONAL COSTS
This course requires a one-time registration fee of $40 per person. Registration includes an evaluation of the learner’s needs. Additional course materials may be required.
